Hey everyone.  I am so sorry for posting this blog so late.  I have been thinking about not doing them anymore becuase they become so repeated to me.  Tell me what you think.
Week of:  August 1 through August 8

Monday:
Today dawned bright and toooo early.  I was not ready to get up or get ready for work.  I did though. When I got to work, I handled the few messages and emails I had.  We really don’t get much on the weekends.  Once that was done, I answered phones and did paper work till lunch.  We decided to order pizza and go to the park to eat.  After lunch I went home because I was on call for the rest of the day.  Once home I did some blogs and cleaned up alittle.  I had dinner and watched TV.

Tuesday:
This morning when I woke up, I had a message saying my new laundry would be installed today.  This was great news.  I was so tired of going to the laundry mat.  I got out of bed and made my way to get ready for work and have breakfast.  I had a good day at work.  The morning was busy but the afternoon was pretty easy.  Once I got home, I started preparing for my vlog.  I usually film on Wednesday so I had to get all that ready.

Wednesay:
When I got up this morning, I took a long deep breath.  I had a long day ahead of me and I was not eager to get started.  I got up and showered, ate breakfast, and got ready for the day.  I decided to put myself on call because I knew I didn’t have time to go in.  Today I was filming the first in my series on Cedar Creek.  I toured a lot of houses.  You can check out the video here.  I was so busy I forgot to eat.  When I finally finished, I was exhausted and hungry.  I grabbed something from Wiggins and ate it on the way home.  Once home I took a fast shower and fell in the bed.

Thursday:
I slept in today because of how tired I was.  I got up sore all over so I took a very long hot bath and let all the pain drain away.  Once that was done, I got ready and went down for breakfast.  I headed into work.  Today was going to be another long day because I had to drive to all my assigned houses and check them.  I got to the office and saw a pile of messages on my desk.  I quickly went through them and my emails.  Once that was done, I chatted with the coworkers then headed out to check the properties.  I didn’t get done till dinner.  I went home and cooked some dinner before sitting down to enjoy my favorite activity …. FOOTBALL!!!!!

Friday:
Today I woke up late so I had to hurry up and get ready.  I got breakfast on the way to work.  Once at the office I had a stack of messages and a good bit of emails.  I worked right through lunch so by the time the day was over I was starving.  I headed home and made dinner before sitting down to begin editing my videos.  I worked on that for a few hours before I turned off the computer and went down stairs to watch one of my favorite trash shows, Love After Lockup.  These folks are crazy.  After that I watched the news then headed up to be.

Saturday:
I took my time getting out of bed this morning.  Since I was on call, I was in no rush to get up and do anything plus I wasn’t feeling well.  I finally got out of bed and took a quick shower.  I went into my office and finished editing my video between work duties.  I finally got it posted and went downstairs for lunch.  Mello was awake by this time so we decided to head how for the day and go to the lake.  We had a good time.  We boated, we BBQ’d, we got some sun.  By the time we got home it was dark.  We took showers and settled into bed to watch the Jaws Marathon.

Week of:  July 26 through August 1

This week I decided not to take any photos.  I had a long week.  I really hope you enjoy this week's journal.
Monday:
Today is a new week of exciting possibilities … till my alarm went off and I didn’t want to get up.  I kept hitting snooze but finally drug myself out of bed and into the shower.  I ate very slowly before getting dressed and heading off to work.  Even though I didn’t have any messages to emails to answer I did have paperwork to do.  Once the day was finally over, it seems like it took forever, I gathered my things and went home.  I stopped on the way and got dinner for me and Mello.  He is usually gone before I get home but today, he didn’t have to go in till later.  Gave us time for some food and TV.

Tuesday:
I woke up this morning well rested and ready for the day.  I was surprised to find Mello next me since he had gone to work so late.  I got up and went to take a shower before heading down stairs to get food and the paper off the front step.  I made Mello plenty of food for when he got up and went to work.  I left a note on his phone.  I went and got ready for work and headed out.  I decided to drive to work because it was so early and I was a bit unsure or the weather.  Once at work I checked messages and emails, thankfully I did not have a lot.  I proceeded to do my paperwork and answer any calls that came in.  On my way home I stopped by the MSCO to talk about my training schedule.  I really needed to get one set up.  On the way out I saw a cute little cat and decided to take her home.  She was so sweet and had been hit by a car, so I took her home.  I am excited to have a pet.  I look forward to the adventure.

Wednesday:
Today was a work at home day so I lingered in bed a while before getting up.  I did some work and then went for a shower and food.  After lunch I began working on my first official YouTube video.  It is a long process but to me it is really worth it.  I kinda lost track of time while working on the video and before I knew it the sun was down and my stomach was rumbling.  Since I had not been outside all day, I decided to go get takeout.  I got pizza and ate it at the Marina.  It was a nice night and it felt good to just relax by the water with my food.  Afterward I drove home and watched some TV for going to bed.

Thursday:
Today I did not want to get out of bed.  I was so tired.  Sometimes I find it hard to sleep and last night was one of them.  I reluctantly got up and went to take a shower.  I decided to get breakfast in town so I got ready.  I went downstairs and feed the cat and unlatched the cat door.  Then I headed out to work.  It turned out to be a long day.  I had to go to easy house im assigned and make sure there was no for rent signs if they were occupied and for rent signs if it was available.  I like this task because it gets me outside in the fresh air.  At lunch I went home and fed the cat and made myself something.  I spent the rest of the day working from home.

Friday:
Today I was able to sleep in.  I really didn’t have much to do at work today.  I just had to drive around and see what was available and make a list.  I decided to bring the cat along so we could hang out.  We had Wiggins for lunch.  After we were done for the day, I spent some time editing YouTube videos.  I have so many ideas for my channel and I really hope people like them.
I had an event this evening so I watched the clocked carefully.  Today my friend and co -worker, Joise, was opening her wine tasting room.  I ended up falling asleep and missing the event.  I feel so bad about it.

Saturday:Today I got up early because I had a lot to do.  I had to finish my YouTube video and get it posted plus I was on call for the office.  I got up and took a long shower before having a large breakfast.  I did a little cleaning then I headed to my home office and began my day.  It took me a while but I finally got the video done and ready for upload.  My nerves shot though the rook as I hit upload.  I really hope people like it.  You can watch my video here.  Once the video was uploaded, I sat back and relaxed.  It had got late so I went and had some dinner.  I went into the bathroom, lit some candles, and had a nice relaxing bubble bath.  Afterward I played with the cat for a while and then went to bed.

Week of:  July 19 through July 25

Monday:
I woke up this morning a bit late.  I was still able to get in a long shower and good breakfast but I got to work later than what I am comfortable with.  I decided to walk to work this morning because it was such a beautiful morning.  When I reached the office, I unlocked the door and walked in to the smell of fresh coffee.  I went to my desk and went through all the notes laying on it.  I switched on my computer and checked emails before checking on the available homes that came in over the weekend.  Cedar Creek is really low on inventory and that makes us realtors very happy.  At lunch time I switched off my computer and walked home.  I had a nice lunch and fixed all of Mello’s dinner for the night.

Tuesday:
I woke up this morning with a bad headache so I decided to work from home.  I am so thankful I have a job that allows me to work from home when I need too.  I spent the morning working in my office but by lunch time I was feeling better so I decided to take a shower, get dressed, and go to the office.  I got lunch at Wiggins on the way and once at the office I settle into my desk and continued my work from the morning.  When my work time was over, I made dinner and did a little house cleaning.  I then went and worked on my secret for a bit.

Wednesday:
This morning when I woke up, I jumped out of bed and ran to get ready.  Today was going to be a big day.  I got to work but I was too excited to work all I could think about was what I was gonna do this afternoon.  I finally got home and sat in front of my computer.  I then proceeded to launch my YouTube channel.  That is right I am on YouTube!!!!!!  Check me out here (link channel).  I am so beyond excited for this.  Once that was done, I calmed down and relaxed.  I spent the rest of the evening watching TV.

Thursday:
Today was a short day at work.  I really didn’t have much to do there so I was off early.  We had a community event today and I was excited to attend.  Anytime I can get to the pool is a great time.  See the blog here.  After the event was over I came home and cooked me up some food.  Then I went to my office and did some blog work.  Even though I had moved from the small town I still blogged.  Living in Cedar Creek had really helped my creativity.

Friday:
I work up late this morning.  On Fridays we don’t have to be at the office till later in the morning.  I took my time getting out of bed and getting ready for the day.  I had a full breakfast.  I drove to work so that I could leave later and have a little more time to myself.  Today was a normal day at the office.  I didn’t have much to do so I went out and checked out the new houses we had available and I sold one. I love when people move into Cedar Creek.  After work I went home and relaxed.  I did a little online shopping and watched some TV.

Saturday:
Today was my off day.  I cleaned the house really good and worked on my new YouTube channel.  I hope that I am successful with it.  It kind of makes me nervous.  I am determined to be a success with it though.  After that Mello told me to get dressed because he wanted to take me on a date.  So that is what we did.  We had a good time laughing, eating, and just hanging out together.

Thanks for tuning into my weekly blog post.  Please make sure you check out my Flickr and YouTube Channel.

Weekly Cedar Creek Journal

Week of:  July 12 through July 18

It is time for another weekly installment of my journal.  I really appreciate you guys loving these.  This week in RL I was on a weird sleep cycle and wasn’t feeling well.  I was only able to get to one event.  I will do better.  This week the photos are at the bottom.

Monday:
This morning I was having the most amazing sleep when my stupid alarm went off.  I groaned and crawled out of bed.  I headed to the bathroom for a shower and then downstairs for breakfast.  I then got ready and headed into the office.  Once I was there, I did some paperwork and checked some messages.  By the time I looked at the clock it was time to go home and I had missed lunch.  I got home and ate because I was starving.  I heard a beep on my phone and checked, my MSCO trainer wanted to let me know training would start that evening.  I did a little dance and ran upstairs to get ready.  I called an Uber and went on my way to training.  It was long and tiring but I learned a lot.  When it was over and I was home I took a shower, made a snack, and fell into my bed exhausted.

Tuesday:
I woke up this morning ready to see what the day had in store.  I got up and went down stairs for breakfast.  Since Mello would be home soon, I made enough for him to.  I ate mine and left his in the oven with a note.  I went upstairs and took a nice long shower and got dressed.  By the time I got back down stairs Mello was home and asleep on the sofa with his empty breakfast plate.  I wrote him a quick note and headed off to work.  As I stepped out, I noticed a package on the door step.  I picked it up and noticing it was for me I opened it.  It was a lovely note from the local event planner.  Once at work I checked all my messages, replied to some, deleted some.  After I was done with all the paperwork I decided to head out and do a house check of all the houses we have available.  Once all that was completed, I went home for lunch.  Mello was still sound asleep on the couch so I left him some food in the stove.  I went upstairs to take a nap and the next thing I knew my alarm was going off …..

Wednesday:
I startled away when I heard the alarm.  I looked at it and blinked.  I slept this long.  Goodness!  I woke up not feeling well so I guess I just didn’t feel well last night.  I called into work and stayed in bed all day sleeping.

Thursday:
My alarm went off this morning and I felt so much better.  I got up out of bed and proceeded to take a long hot shower.  After getting dressed I went downstairs and made myself a big breakfast.  I am always so hungry after having one of my sick days.  After I was done eating and I had finished getting ready I headed to the office.  Once in the office I did my regular tasks before heading out to check the new houses that had come available.  Some really cute stuff is on the market.  When I was done it was close to the end of the day so I went ahead and went home.  Once home I slipped into comfortable clothing and cooked some dinner.  After dinner I cleaned up and went to the room that was to my office/ glam room.  I sat on the floor and began to plan out what I was going to do.  After a few hours I was sore and needed a break.  I sat my notepad on the floor and went downstairs and got a drink and snack.  I then headed up to bed as I had a long day the next day.

Friday:
Since today was my on-call day I work up later than usual.  I took a shower and slowly ate breakfast.  Once that was done, I headed out to pay some bills and go to the grocery store for some restock supplies.  I took a few calls and made some rounds.  Once the day was over, I put up my work phone and turned off the computer and went down for dinner.  I had plans to go to the community picnic but ended up falling asleep on the couch.   I hate having these episodes but I knew it would pass I just have to be patient.  They really make me miss everything in life.  Hopefully I will wake up tomorrow feeling better.

Saturday:
Today I got up earlier as the kitchen people were coming to put in my new kitchen.  I got really excited thinking about it.  I got dressed in lazy clothes and went down to clean out my kitchen.  By the time I was done the crew was here to install the new kitchen.  It took them all day but that is fine.  It gave me a chance to work on the office.  Since it was Saturday, the office was closed but we were all on call.  I did answer a few calls but nothing major.  Once everything was done in the kitchen, I took it all in and just fell in love.  It is so beautiful.  When I was done with that I went up and got dressed because I had an event to get to.  Read about that here. I got home from the exhibit and fell on the bed.  I was a little tired but more I dreaded working on the house.  My energy was drained.  I got up and put on some comfortable clothes and headed down stairs to finish the kitchen.

Week of:  July 5 through July 11
Monday:
I woke up bright and early this morning because Monday!  I got a shower and breakfast and then headed out the door.  As I was walking out the newspaper was on my step.  I grabbed it and read it on my way to work.  I was excited to see we are having an Independence Celebration tonight in CC.  While I do not celebrate the holiday, I do love fireworks.  I spent the day at work busy.  Even though it was Monday I was still in a cheerful mood.  See blog here.

Tuesday:

Today was a really easy day.  I got up a little early so that I could have some me time.  I soaked in a bubble bath for about half an hour before having a good breakfast.  Once I did all that I hopped in the car and headed off to work.  I spent the morning riding around town checking out the available properties.  Since we only have a few, it didn’t really take me long.  I went into the office and checked for any message on my phone or notes from the boss or co-workers.  At lunch I got a text to come to the MSCO to get fitted for my uniform and get all my equipment as training would start soon.  When I was done getting my uniform, I went over to the local shopping center.  I got a new sheet and comforter set and I got some new jammies.  After that I went home and had some dinner.  I washed the new stuff and got it all set up before settling in for the night and watching TV.

Wednesday:

I woke up this morning feeling empowered and wonderful.  Today would be my first day of Police Training.  Upon realizing that I jumped out of bed, hurriedly got ready for work and left the house.  I had so much to look forward to.  First, I have work.  I really love my real estate job.  It is so fun helping people that are new to Cedar Creek and people that have been here a while.  Second, the community ice cream social was today.  Who doesn’t love ice cream?  Finally, I get to start training to be a police officer.  It was indeed going to be an exciting day.  I worked till about noon at the rental office then went for lunch.  I walked to a nearby park and had the lunch I brought from home.  Afterward, I went home and relaxed for a few before police training start.  While I was relaxing, I got a text that training would have to wait.  The train had the flu.  So instead, I got ready for the Ice Cream Social and went to that when it was time.  See blog here.

Thursday:

Today I woke up super late and had to rush through getting ready.  I had to grab a muffin off the counter and dash into the office.  As soon as I got there, I was very busy.  I had houses to check and renters to welcome.  At lunch time I grabbed a quick bite to eat at the local Wiggins (link) and went back into the office.  Once there I answered messages and sent them.  It was a long day and I was glad when it was over.  I went home and took a long bubble bath before relaxing on the couch and watch TV.   I kept my phone close in case I got a text to come in for MSCO training.  I ended up falling asleep while watching Coming 2 America on Prime.

Friday:
I woke up Friday morning looking around confused.  It slowly returned to me that I had fell asleep on the couch, “I must have been tired,” I said to myself as I got up and went upstairs to take a shower.  I had a really good breakfast and left Mello a note telling him I love him.  Mello works night as a truck driver and gets home right after I usually leave.  I left him some food in the oven and headed out.  I had a lot to do at the office today.  I had a lot of mailings to handle.  When I finally was able to get home there was no time to relax, I had to get ready for the community dinner at the Blue Flamingo.   See blog post here.  Once I got home from that delicious dinner I relaxed on the couch and kept an eye on my phone.  Not only was I on call at the office but I was hoping to get a message about my MSCO training.  It was starting to get late so I decided to go upstairs and go to bed.  See ya in the morning CC.

Saturday:
Picture
Saturday morning, I got up late, ate a leisurely breakfast, and took a long hot bubble bath.  Afterward I checked my text messages and did some realtor work from home.  Once that was done, I had the afternoon to myself, so I cleaned.  After the house was spotless and all the laundry done, I decided to head into town and go grocery shopping.  I really hated going out for lunch and preferred to take my own.  Mello also likes to take a lot of food with to work, he eats it all too.  So, we needed groceries.  Mello and I decided to take the 2-hour drive to Grand Junction because the city is bigger and they have more stores.  While we were there, we did some clothes shopping and ate some great food.  It was a nice afternoon and we soon headed home as it was getting dark.  Once home we put everything away and spent the remainder of the evening watching movies.

Sunday:
((My normal SL off day is Sunday.  So I took this day off, to learn how to make videos.  I also just needed a break.))

My Second Week in Cedar Creek / Weekly Journal

7/4/2021

Week of:  June 28 through July 4

Monday:
Today I woke up bright and early so that I could get into the office.  It was a beautiful morning as I walked to work.  When I got to the office, I stopped at the little snack stand and got me some tea and cakes.  I was tired from walking the 15 miles, ya girl cannot drive.  I sat on a nearby bench and enjoy the treats before heading into the office.   After spending a few hours working I decided to head out.  The community had an event and I really wanted to attend.  I went home and changed into something more comfortable and headed over to the park.  The event was really great.  We laughed so hard and got so much information.  When it was over, I walked back home and prepared dinner for myself and Mello.  Afterward, all I did was relax for the evening.
Picture
Tuesday:
On Tuesday morning I woke feeling a little sick.  I stayed in bed a little longer till I felt better.  Once I was feeling better, I got up took a shower, and got ready for work.  Once I was already, I headed out to start my day.  Better late than never!  While out exploring Cedar Creek my arm touched Poison Ivy …. *cries*.  After exploring around I went and took a few moments to reflect.  Today is a hard day for me so I just needed a private me moment.
Picture
Wednesday:
Today I got a surprise text message.  The Sheriff asked me in for an interview.  It went pretty well.  I really enjoy anything law and legal so I hope I get the job.  After the interview I headed to the zoo for the Dino exhibit.  You can read more about that here. Once I was done with the exhibit I went and ate some soup then called it a night.  I was not feeling well and thought I would get a good night’s rest.

Thursday:
Today was a quiet day.  I had a lazy morning and worked from home.  I had a few packages I ordered online arrive.  I spent most of my afternoon running errands and getting ready to go camping tomorrow.

**I forgot to get a photo today**

Friday:
Today I got up a little later than usual.  I had wanted to get my rest because I knew it was going to be a long night.  I was looking forward to camping.  Before loading up the car I checked my mail and got a surprise, my application had been accepted at the Sheriff’s office.  I did do a little dance; I hope the neighbors didn’t see me.  What a great start to the weekend.  You can read the blog here.

Saturday:
I got home early from camping.  We all had such a great time.  I unpacked the car and got everything sorted.  I used today to clean the house and do laundry.  I was on call at the office so I had a few things here and there I had to do.  I eventually got the house and laundry done and clocked out of my shift.  I ate dinner and called my mom to get her catch up on things.  Then I went down to the pool and enjoyed the sun. At the pool I made a new friend and really enjoyed her company.  I look forward to hanging out with her more.   That was really my day.

*I forgot to get a photo on this day also*

Sunday:
Today I spent the day in reflection.  I do not celebrate the 4th of July as I am Indigenous.  Instead, I spent the day mourning the lose of so many children in residential schools.  check out my blog about here.

My First Week in Cedar Creek

6/27/2021

This week was really long.  I started my new job in Cedar Creek.  I really do love being a realtor.  It is so much fun showing people around town and helping them settle in.  My training has been going wonderfully.  My trainer/boss Cade is pretty cool.  He explains things really well.  I sold my first house on Friday and I felt so accomplished.

I also, continued setting up the house.  I don’t really have much left.  I am still trying to decide what to do with the empty room.  I really want a glam room/ office but at the same I want a guest space.  I have been thinking about buying all new furniture.  I just can’t decide.  I will have it done this week.

On Saturday I went to a community BBQ.  It was so fun.  The citizens of Cedar Creek are really amazing people.  We danced, we laughed, we stuffed our faces.

On Sunday I just relaxed.  I did a little online shopping but for the most part I just laid around the house doing nothing.

Join me again next week for more.

Meet Cedar Creek Pt. 2

6/21/2021

Picture
**CREDITS AT BOTTOM**
Once I got home and rested a little bit I got up and got ready for another event I had to get to (blog on that coming soon).  I was out late from that and by the time I finally got home I was exhausted.  I just basically put on the closest thing to me and fell in the bed.  When I got up, I felt so rested and after taking a nice hot shower I felt refreshed.  I had a light breakfast of cereal and then it was time to start part two of this blog.

So, I decided to go the opposite way then what I did yesterday.  Yesterday I went right, today I will go left.  I walked up a hill and turned right.  I was in a cute neighbor that has a massive park.  There is a little area to get a horse and do agility.  There is a skateboarding area.  There were some life size chest sets and a soccer field.  There were also a lemonade and snack stands.  Lastly, in the back was a playground for the kids.
Location here

I left the park and kept walking around the bend and found the zoo.  Now look I love animals and the zoo is one of the best places for me to visit.  I headed inside but was sad to see a fence around it.  The zoo is apparently undergoing some renovations.  They have to have it completed and open soon.

I decided to go back home and get my car, it would be faster than walking.  I also grab a sack lunch and plenty of snacks and drinks.  After getting in my car, I looked at the map I had of the town.  I decided to go to the three event venues first and check those out.  The first one is on the water and is small.  It is called The Spruce and would be great for a small, intimate gathering.  After checking it out I hopped back in my car and headed to the next one.  The second venue I went to was called The Aviary.  The Aviary would be a great place to host a ball or a birthday party.  It is not too big but it is surrounded by space outside to fit more people.   After looking in the windows of the Aviary I got in the car and headed to my last venue.  This venue was all the way across town.  I ran into a bit of traffic as I was going there but eventually, I made.  When I finally got there, I was a little taken back.  I thought my GPS had led me to the wrong area because it was all dirt roads, then I saw it.  I pulled over and got out of my car taking it in.  It had the most beautiful rustic bridge leading to a beautiful barn.  This is a great area for a wedding.  There were trees and mountains in the background.  Needless to say, I was a little taken back by the beautiful of this place.

The Aviary Location
The Barn Location

After taking about an hour to tour the barn and have lunch I head to my next spot, Lake Catherine.  I turned into the parking lot and sat in my car for a while starting out at the lake.  This town is so beautiful and every place I visit is just incredible, including this lake.  I feel so blessed to call Cedar Creek my home.  I finally dragged myself out of the cool car and walked a little way down a wooden path and found the beach.  It was not a big beach but it was enough to sit and enjoy the boaters and water.  It had a boat ramp, some yachts, and a fire pit.
Location here

Next on my list was the community center.  When I arrived I saw a lot of other cars and people.  I soon found out they were having a coffee and chat event.  Cedar Creek does have a lot of events for their residents.  You can check out the calendar of events here.

My final stop on the tour will be the grocery stop.  I need food and thought I would take you along.  I was going to end at the community center but hey who doesn’t need food.  The store is in a cute part of town surrounded by shops and apartments.  I went in and grabbed what I needed.  I left the store and went home to rest.

I want to thank you for going on this long journey with me.  I know it was a lot but I really wanted to cover Cedar Creek.  I know I did not get everything.  I left things out so that you would have a reason to come visit us and make our own move here.

Untill Next Time,
~Tina

Meet Cedar Creek Pt. 1

6/21/2021

It has really been a long couple of days with the move.  I decided to head out and explore the Cedar Creek.  This is a beautiful area surrounded by snowcapped mountains and trees.  Cedar Creek is nice and spacious with 11 sims to explore.  This journey took me two long days and I was so tired when it was completed.  I am glad I took it though and look forward to getting to know the town and people even better.

Pinewood Public School is the local school here in Cedar Creek.  It is close to my house so I made it my first stop.  It was closed due to the fact this is Sunday but I did get a little information offline.  The school offers grades pr-school through 12 and they have classes all through the day time and in the evening.  Tuition is free and they are hiring (must be a citizen of Cedar Creek).  If you would like more information about a position please visit here.  If you are looking to attend classes please visit the school here.

My next stop was one that held my attention for a few moments.  Mini Golf!!!!  I love golf and mini is so super fun.  It is a really great date night or family activity.  To play just sit on the first area besides the ticket booth.   This course has a Disney theme and there are cute characters all over the area.  It is free to play.

My next stop was the community pool.  With it now being summer I see this place getting a lot of business.  I know I for one can’t wait to use it.

My next stop was one of prayer and reflection.  I came to the church.  It was a quite little church on the corner.  It was so beautiful on the outside and so peaceful on the inside.  I took a few moments and just sat in the back and thought over life.  While things for me are great a lot of people are suffering.  I said a small prayer and continued on my journey.

My next stop was the Fire Station.  True story when I was young, I got to ride on a fire truck in a parade.  It was cool and hot.  Fire fighters to me are probably the hardest working people on the planet.  They should be put on pedal stools.  These people literally run into burning buildings to save it and the folks inside.  That is the definition of Hero.  The fire department is hiring; however, you must be a citizen of Cedar Creek.  You can find the application here.

After having a lovely conversation with Fire Fighter/ Paramedic, Kat, I continued my journey.  I walked down the road a bit and come to a spot that took me back a little.  I found the skating rink.  It had disco lights and a larger floor.  There are snacks and skates for your use.  The rink has an amazing view of the lake and is very airy.

I continued on my way passing a very cute little park, where yes, I did stop and play.  After taking a small break at the park I went around the corner and through the tunnel.  I did run back and forth flapping my arms and yelling, “Weeeeeee!”  I then came to a parking with stairs that led down to a small marina on Lake Jasper.  The setting was beautiful.  The water looked so calm and cool and there was this amazing view of the Mountains.  As of this writing there are two boat slips available.  They are 135L a week and come with 75 prims.  Just an FYI:  The cute balloons at the Dive Center tent are not in a balloon giver.  They are from Hive and can be found here.
Location here

While at the marine I discovered a boardwalk, so I decided to follow it.  I discovered many shops and places to gather such as, a butcher shop for fresh meat, there is a cute little tattoo parlor, a comic book store with a wide selection, and The Mesozoic Museum.  That is just a few of the many things in this area.  I walked further down and found one of my favorite places on the planet, the LIBRARY!!!!!!
Location Here

I decided to leave the boardwalk and walked up the stairs next to the library.  When I got to the top, I found the bowling alley.  Now I can not bowl but this is great family fun.  They had a small snack center and plenty of space for a group of people.  They also have a balloon giver; you know I got a few.
Location here

I continued up the street passing by several more businesses.  There were snack and newspaper stand, the bank, a bail bonds company, and The Bean Coffee House.  I kept walking and looked up to see the Public Safety Building, which houses the court house and Sheriff, both of which are hiring.  The applications can be found at Sheriff and Court.
Location here

After touring the Public Safety Building, I found the local gym, I ran as fast I could away from that place.  I am too cute to get all sweaty working out.
Location here

Once I ran away from the gym, I back tracked past the bowling alley to another road.  I followed that road up and over the water.  There were businesses on the other side of the water as well.  I turned right and kept going along the street.  I rounded the corner and found the hospital.  It was very large and had a beautiful garden area out front.  The hospital covers everything you would suck as, pediatrics, maternity/obgyn, urgent care, and general medicine.  You can check out their website to schedule an appointment, apply for a job, or apply for disability plates.  There website is here.
Location here

One I was done touring the hospital I decided to go home for the night.  So, part Two is coming.

Setting up a Home

6/19/2021

After getting an amazing night’s rest in our new home Mello and awoke to a feeling and complete happiness.  We were already so in love with this town and our home.  Mello decided to go to the local bakery and get us breakfast while I started sorting boxes in the U-Haul.  After breakfast we got everything unloaded and in the correct room.  While Mello returned the U-Haul, I started unpacking and getting stuff in place.  I started with the kitchen and made my way to the living and dining rooms before making my way upstairs.  I got our bed made; we had already set it up last night so we would have a place to sleep.  I moved on to the bathroom.  We still have a room that we are debating about.
